Ray Walsh Tops Modified Nationals Field at Jacksonville Speedway 

Walsh is just the second driver in three events to win and scores his first ever on the tour

JACKSONVILLE, Ill. - June 22, 2016 – Ray Walsh held off Michael Long to score his first ever DIRTcar Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals win at Jacksonville Speedway on Tuesday night.

Walsh, a St. Louis-native, was on a roll throughout the night, scoring his heat race victory and starting on the outside pole. Through the feature, Walsh battled past Rick Conoyer and held off Long to pick up the win. He joins Nick Hoffman as the only other driver through three races with a Modified Nationals victory.

Nick Hoffman Scores Summit Modified Win at Terre Haute  

The tour rejoins the DIRTcar Summer Nationals on Tuesday at Jacksonville

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - June 19, 2016 – Nick Hoffman continued to roll Sunday night at the Terre Haute Action Track as he scored his second Summit Racing Modified Nationals victory of the season.

Hoffman, who picked up the win the first night at Kankakee County Speedway on Thursday, returned to action on Sunday in top form. Hoffman was fast throughout the night. He battled to the lead at the mid-point of the feature and ran away with the win. Hoffman scored his second victory over Brian Shaw and Richie Lex.

The grueling summer schedule kicks off after a rain out at Brownstown on Wednesday


KANKAKEE, Ill. - June 16, 2016 – Nick Hoffman dominated the season opener of the DIRTcar Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals at Kankakee (Ill.) County Speedway on Thursday night.


Hoffman, a native of Mooresville, N.C., held off Mike McKinney and Kenny Wallace to score the first win of the 2016 Summit Modified Nationals season. It was just his second ever visit to the track and came after the season opener at Brownstown Speedway was rained out on Wednesday.


Hoffman, who earlier this year claimed the DIRTcar Nationals Modified Week title, started the night on the pole, and held tough through the 25-lap feature as McKinney and Wallace put up a tough fight for the top spot. Hoffman hung tough through four cautions.

Summer Nationals and Summit Modified Nationals begins with Brownstown Speedway (Ind.) Wednesday, June 15


CONCORD, N.C. – June 8, 2016 – Just one week remains until the start of the DIRTcar Summer Nationals and DIRTcar Summit Racing Modified Nationals and two drivers looking to repeat their 2015 success are Mike Harrison and Bobby Pierce.


Both will be on their game trying to compete for a second season when both tours, among the most grueling in all of motorsports, kicks off on June 15 at Brownstown (Ind.) Speedway.


Young standout Bobby Pierce, blazed a path to last season’s Summer Nationals title. The 18-year-old driver, edged another young standout, Billy Moyer Jr., to became the youngest ever driver to claim the title. He joined his father Bob Pierce as the first ever father-son duo to claim the Summer Nationals title. The Oakwood, Ill.-native went on from Summer Nationals to win his second DIRTcar Late Model National Championship.
