Michael Long Wins by Inches at Quincy Raceways

QUINCY, IL — July 3, 2017 — After an intense battle, Michael Long passed Kenny Wallace in the final lap to secure his first Summit Modified Nationals win in 2017 by mere inches. The two racers were neck and neck during the last several laps, but Wallace finished just behind Long. Phil Dixon finished in third place and Ray Bollinger fell to fourth after failing to hold on to a lead.

Ray Bollinger Takes Another Season Victory at Lincoln Speedway

LINCOLN, IL — July 2, 2017 — Ray Bollinger raced well to obtain his third feature win in the Summit Modified Nationals 2017 season. Bollinger increased his lead after finally passing Nick Hoffman at the end of a tight battle. Nick Hoffman would finish second with Jeff Leka behind him at third.

Nick Hoffman Gets a Big Win at Federated Auto Parts Raceway

PEVELY, MO — July 1, 2017 — Nick Hoffman was able to gain his fifth win in the Summit Modified Nationals season after a close race at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55. Hoffman was able to maintain his lead over Rick Stevenson and Brent Thompson, who rounded out the podium at second and third respectively.

Jamie Lomax Records First Win of 2017 at Plymouth Speedway

PLYMOUTH, IN — June 29, 2017 — Jamie Lomax crossed the finish line first for the first time in 2017 at Plymouth Speedway. After initially passing Nick Hoffman for the lead, Lomax would maintain his position while holding off advances from Mike Mckinney and Frank Marshall, who finished second and third. Nick Hoffman dropped to seventh after leading the race for a time.

Nick Hoffman Cruises to Fourth Win at Charleston Speedway

CHARLESTON, IL — June 27, 2017 — Nick Hoffman crossed the finish line at Charleston Speedway with a comfortable lead to record his fourth Summit Modified Nationals win of the season. Danny Schwartz and Mike Harrison initially battled for second place, but Harrison would fall to fifth as Danny Schwartz maintained his second place position. Brian Shaw ultimately finished third.
